It would be interesting if we could identify valuable syllogisms on the basis of actus purus. For instance, God is often defined as Love. Therefore, Love is pure act. God is also called salvation, which is the pure act of Jesus. The inner perfection of the Holy Trinity is often described by the double procession of the hypostases, which might also be called pure act. ADM (talk) 19:14, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

@Nagelfar: is asked to give citation for the paragraph which he has added to this article, insofar as it remains; Especially with regards to the suppositions on modes (And the supposition that potency and act, and essence and existence, are considered modes in themselves, in Aquinas or other scholastic writers), as well as the suppositions on matter and form being "that becomes" and "that which it becomes", in the writings already mentioned.
