Australian Chart Positions Errors

The Australian chart positions for Alice's albums are incorrect. Prior to Hey Stoopid the chart positions are listed as "-". Many Alice albums did chart very well in Oz. I suspect that this is because the reference used australian.charts.com is either incomplete or inaccurate for the time prior to 1991. This seems to be because they reference for their reference the ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) records which only started then. Prior to 1991 the Oz charts were kept by GoSet Magazine from 1965? to 1973 and then the Kent Music Report till ARIA took over. During this time Top 40 charts were also published weekly by radio stations and were distributed in record stores and published (on a Thursday, I remember) in newspapers. The most popular was that put out by 3XY.

Having a quick look at GoSet's site www.poparchives.com.au/gosetcharts/, School's Out reached number 5 and Billion Dollar Babies reached number 3. The responsible person should check this. I'm sure that Greatest Hits all the solo albums until From The inside charted well as did Trash.

On a side note (and I can't verify it right now but-) Welcome To My Nightmare was originally released on Anchor Records in Australia in a small run. Warner's hadn't been that keen it seems and then quickly reasserted their rights when the album charted. Any memories, anyone? Shimmins (talk) 04:24, 29 April 2010 (UTC)shimmins[reply]

I have just noticed that the Meat Loaf Discography page has the same problem: according to it Bat Out Of Hell singles etc did not chart. Again because of using Australian.charts.com as the referenceShimmins (talk) 11:55, 5 May 2010 (UTC)shimmins[reply]

Not to be rude, but...

The page is missing Alice's first album... a badly recorded live thing called Nobody Likes Me. Now, it's bootleg, but it's "official bootleg" meaning it still qualifies as Alice Cooper material, so it *should* be included.

Thanks for your time!

According to the
current entry for the album its wasn't authorized. Outside of a few unsourced claims on some fan sites I can't find any information about it ever being official and the quality of the release tends to back up the claim that its just another bootleg. Of the eight songs on the album none have the correct titles, two were really preformed by Ronnie Hawkins (and not attributed properly) and one was an older recording of the Alice Cooper band when they were still called the Spiders. Its been released on many different labels over the years, under dozens of different titles and almost never includes proper packaging (quality or information wise). Since the article intro says we shouldn't include bootlegs, and without a reliable source claiming its not a bootleg I don't think it should be listed. Also, the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival was preformed a month after the release of their first album, so its not their first album even if you don't count the stuff they released under the Spiders. Theater of Death

Why hasn't the Theater of Death live album been added to the discography? --24.94.251.190 (talk) 23:03, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Theatre of Death is there, look under DVD and VHS. AFAIK you can only get the live album by buying the DVD or Blu-ray. Since its not a separate release it shouldn't go into live albums section. I could be wrong on that point though. Either way someone else though that the DVD and VHS section is where it should have been put. Lando242 (talk) 00:19, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ah I see thanks. I guess what I also meant was why doesn't it have it's own Wikipedia page. --24.94.251.190 (talk) 11:14, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect links on the chart headers!

The chart header links are all incorrect! For example, clicking on "US" at the head of the singles chart SHOULD take me to the page describing the Billboard Hot 100 chart - NOT the page describing the United States! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.99.30.107 (talk) 13:22, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
