Name

I suggest the correct name for this entry is "Allgemeiner deutscher Musikverein" (using lower case for "deutsch" and adding an "r" to the adjectives) – that's the German usage for terms without an article and that's how the German Wikipedia lists it.

Further, I'm not sure about its translation (currently "All-German Union of Music"); allgemein simply means "general". The German Wiktionary suggests "common", "general", "public", and "universal"; the English Wiktionary suggests "general", "common", "basic", "usual". My preference is for "General German Music Association". What do others think? -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 06:18, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I searched a bit for the authentic spelling of the association, and found two program covers which use "Allgemeiner Deutscher Musikverein" with a capital "D". The article in the German Wikipedia was in error and I corrected it. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 12:30, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
