"Like the 309"

I seem to recall "Like the 309" having its own separate article. I'm not sure how long it was (probably no longer than a few sentences), but I'm not sure why it redirects to this page now. Several of Cash's other songs have separate articles, including "

The Man Comes Around", which, as opposed to tracks like "I Walk the Line" and "Ring of Fire", was not released as a single and is notable primarily due to its powerful subject matter (though even that is POV). One could also point to articles like Zooropa, in which all the songs on the record have their own articles, and some of the latter don't describe their noteworthiness. "Like the 309" is the last song Cash has written. If it would be possible to expand beyond that simple statement, I think it would definitely deserve its own article. That was me. I agree with you, there's no reason why any given song shouldn't have its own page (though many might disagree with that), but in this case the article was just two sentences long, and I couldn't imagine anyone writing more about it. So I redirected it to the album page. You're welcome revert it if you want.

Alright, I'm not going to do that just yet, since a two-sentence article indeed isn't enough. I'll try to come up with enough content for a more or less satisfying stub. Cromag 22:04, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Units sold

There is an obvious discrepancy right now between two neighboring sentences in the opening paragraph. One states that the album has gone

gold (in America, I'm assuming), while the other says it's sold 337,000, which is quite a bit below the required 500,000. Does anybody know which is closer to the truth? Cromag 20:05, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply

Track listing

Track listing section includes a link to the Elvis Presley album How Great Thou Art, but on the page for that album the track God's Gonna Cut You Down is not found.
