Ultimate Annihilus

The Ultimate Annihilus section is a mess. While it is interesting to ponder that the Ultimate Fantastic Four made a crossover, of sorts, to the standard Marvel Universe by entering the same Negative Zone that the 616 Fantastic Four have traveled to, the article as it is now is a head-ache to read. Offcially the Ultimate Universe is Earth 1610 and the classic Marvel Universe is 616. In the Ultimate comic they are told by Nihil that the Ultimate FF are from the universe above his. The Ultimate N-Zone is then presumably Marvel Universe 1609. That is to say, there is an N-Zone *and* an Ultimate N-Zone. I'm just going to alter the aticle now under this assumption. If it really bothers anyone, revert it, and at least give me an arguement against mine. --TylerXKJ 03:47, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reed Richards, I presume?

  • Cryptically, he knew Reed Richard's name without being told it (though this may be a typing error, as the FF never noticed this).

Removed this part from the Ultimate Annihilis section, since this is presumably due to the fact that the Awesome's computer exchanged linguistic data with Nihil, and so not particularly cryptic at all. Or noteworthy for that matter.

Annihilus, formerly loser and now godlike?!?

Could someone even more Marvel Zombie-like than I tell me where Annihilus got all this newfound power from??

The Fantastic Four was able to dispatch him wiuth relative ease, but now he whups Quasar in the first round?!?!?

(I need to know for sure [beacuse I wrote an addendum to the "Powers and Abilities" section in Wiki] if this is just writer carelessness or if he did indeed get a power upgrade since I saw him last, lo these many years ago...) —The preceding

Stating that Annihilus was generally easily defeated is untrue; even though he was indeed upgraded, he has always demonstrated great levels of power. I saw episodes where he knocked down the Thing and Blastaar without much effort. This required, of course, that he be on maximum power level. But I wouldn't say that the FF ever dispatched him with "relative ease" when he was at his peak. Wedineinheck 07:53, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The FF also defeat Galactus on a regular basis... and Quasar was actually more or less absorbed by the Cosmic Control Rod, so it was more of a kryptonite situation then a straight up defeat. Ciobanica (talk) 22:33, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Age of Apocalypse

No mention of the AoA "version" of Annihilus, when Blink is transported to the Negative Zone and meets Annihilus? At the very least, a small mention in the "Other Versions" section would be nice.

[quote] Nova then has a final battle against Annihilus, in which Phyla manages to steal away the Nega-Bands [/quote]

This fragment is in the main article... who write it ?? Phyla NEVER steals the QUANTUM-Bands (no the "Nega-bands"), simply, when her 'fights' Annihilus, she trades whit the bands and them choosen her to be the new wearer.

Film

The film section has a sourced comment from the co-writer of the second F4 film saying he [had] an interest in putting Annihilus in a sequal. Given that no sequal will ever emerge (the franchise is being rebooting in 2014), should this remain in the article? "Annihilus might have appeared in a movie that won't ever be made" seems less-than-trivial to me. Argento Surfer (talk) 14:12, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Should the IGN ranking be in the lead?

The current lead is two sentences, and one is a 94th ranking on IGN's top 100 villain list. Is that really such a defining aspect of the character? Normally, I move that to a 'reception' or equivalent section, but there isn't one here.

Also, it seems weird to have that lising on the greatest villains list right after a lead describing him as an occasional anti-hero. Argento Surfer (talk) 20:53, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
