Happiness Is A Warm Gun

This song seems to be heavy influenced (and maybe sampled) ? from the beatles song Happiness Is A Warm Gun, especially the following part:

The man in the crowd with the multicoloured mirrors On his hobnail boots Lying with his eyes while his hands are busy Working overtime A soap impression which he made of his wife And donated to the National Trust

Leona Lewis

Awww, what a shame. The flash in the pan singer didn't get to perform it despite all the speculation.

Whats with the hatters on wikipedia. Its a place for hatters —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.75.116.40 (talk) 15:35, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, we love "hatting" over here —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.84.1.71 (talk) 21:41, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Quite a few singers, many more famous than Leona were touted for the Bond theme. It's no reflection on Leona's success. She's certainly no flash in the pan as she'd not failed so far. (86.137.71.231 (talk) 00:03, 17 August 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Amy Winehouse

The statement that the White/Keys theme is replacing one by Amy Winehouse because she could not complete it is misleading. Amy Winehosue was never awarded the title song. The reference that has been linked to is her stating that she had a demo tape prepared, but it was not accepted, and she will be releasing it to try and prove that EON made a mistake in signing someone else. But she never signed a contract to record the theme.129.180.1.224 (talk) 01:54, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Background?

No information or history on how the somewhat-odd pairing of White and Keys came about? Are they fans of each others' music? Anything? There's gotta be a story about that somewhere out there in the dubble-ya-dubble-ya-dubble-ya internets. - eo (talk) 19:44, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Song actually stolen, not composed by J. White

The song was stolen from Phoenix - Filip si cerbul, album Cantofabule link for album wiki page: https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cantofabule link for song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RuWOX_Gw8c — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:2F0B:814F:FFFF:0:0:4F73:A8FE (talk) 15:50, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That goes to show, nothing is original, if you look hard enough. Eligius (talk) 12:38, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Who plays piano?

"The song—which features White on vocals, guitar and drums and Keys on vocals and piano(...)"

"Background

White wrote and produced the song and he plays the guitar, drums, and piano, while Keys provides vocals, becoming the first duet in Bond theme history."
