Footage

Not all of the footage was from Apollo 11. For instance, the staging seen from the Saturn V was from an earlier mission (actually two, I think). The first stage and interstage dropping off is from Apollo 4 and I think that showing the S-IVB moving away is from a Saturn IB. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 04:36, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, the footage of the S-IVB (Saturn V third stage) igniting for translunar injection is from Apollo 9, the first test of a manned Apollo mission including a Lunar Module, in which the S-IVB stage is relit after LM separation. [1] CodeMonkeyDoctor (talk) 19:15, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Some footage omitted from version shown on CNN

When I saw the film in the theater, there was a close-up shot of the body of Saturn V rising, a cut to a person, and then another close-up of the Saturn V as it was tilting away. These were a lot closer shots than the others. When I saw the film on CNN, these two shots of the Saturn V were missing. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 17:09, 27 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
