Main theaters

Suslindisambiguator, thank you for starting this article, do you have a source for "The Arch Street Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was during the 19th century one of the three main Philadelphia theaters for plays; the other two were the Walnut Street Theater and the Chestnut Street Theatre" in the original version. I found a reference to "three most important theatres in Philadelphia [in the 1880s] — the Broad Street Theatre , the Chestnut Street Opera House , and the Chestnut Street Theatre" in America's Longest Run: A History of the Walnut Street Theatre (Andrew Davis 2010, p174). I have just written Chestnut Street Opera House, but I was relying on online research. TSventon (talk) 18:26, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Suslindisambiguator, thank you for adding a reference. It does say that the Arch Street Theatre declined after 1869, so the two sources are consistent. TSventon (talk) 23:14, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
