Naming
Shouldn't this be astrological meteorology? Bantman 20:11, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- There are many names for this practice...meteorological astrology, astrometeorology, astrological meteorology, meteoroastrology, weather and astrology, etc. --Wassermann 05:41, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- This is often considered a subset of astrologia naturalis (natural astrology) "the theory and practice of prophecy relating to the influence of the heavenly bodies on weather, on physical matter, on the birth, growth and decay of all living things on earth." Shakespeare and the Astrology of His Time, Moriz Sondheim, Journal of the Warburg Institute, Vol. 2, No. 3 (Jan., 1939), pp. 243-259 I'll look for some more recent references to improve this page. --mikeu talk 16:33, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
I've moved the page from meteorological astrology to astrometeorology as that seems the most concise and commonly used. --mikeu talk 18:21, 15 November 2019 (UTC)
