Neil Diamond reference
Someone inserted a claim that the riff in Atomic was "directly influenced" by a Neil Diamond song. That needs a citation. Songs will often have vague similarities. The riffs are not the same notes, nor even the same sequence of notes. Anyway, provide a citation or it shouldn't be included.Alexhaniha (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:24, 22 January 2012 (UTC).
Just to expand on this, the riff in Atomic is four notes (phonetically: duh, duh, duh, duuuh with emphasis on the last note) while the Diamond song is three (duh, duh, duh). They have different chords. Different structures. Different tempos. Different instrumentation. And the musical idea is so basic that I seriously doubt you need any influence to come up with it. Is it possible? With Blondie anything's possible. If you have a Destri quote or a Chapman quote or a Chris Stein quote, fine. But just because someone without reflection thinks that the riff in song A sort of reminds them of the riff in song B, which can be claimed about countless songs, doesn't mean you make an unattributed claim in a Wikipedia article.Alexhaniha (talk)
Girasolcita; The Robots
- It was sounded in Girasolcita In the episode The Atomic Sounds When Tiky Mocks Chief.
- It Also Sounds in The Robots in the episode The Summer Day Sounds When Green Enjoy The Summer
These were added on October 5 by User:190.148.168.9. Unfortunately neither Wp nor IMDb is aware of either series. I'll remove these. —Tamfang (talk) 07:07, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
