David Ward?

An anonymous (IP-only, 78.146.171.241) contributor has just added "with David Ward". Further this seems to be the only entry made by this user.

Wikipedia contains a few "David Ward" entries, but none looks relevant (at first glance at least) to radio work in N.E. England.

So I'm undoing this edit, as it doesn't seem to add any significance at all to this encyclopaedic article about Kate Adie.

If the Ward association really is relevant to Adie's information, could our anonymous contributor get themselves a Wikipedia identifier? Then either link to the existing relevant Wikipedia "Ward" article (if any) or get the text to explain why this would be a substantive addition to Adie's article, in keeping with the rest of Wikipedia. Thanks.

John Donaldson

RadioJottings (talk) 14:34, 1 July 2018 (UTC) I have removed the reference to John Donaldson as it has no citation and may even refer to Peter Donaldson who was a Radio 4 newsreader but never worked at Radio Durham. Additional presenters added where I can find references and start date corrected.[reply]
