Platinum but limited release

This was uncited, and seems strange: The album went
Platinum
in Iceland.
Does Iceland have a platinum rating that is achievable with only 7000 copies? If so, that should nbe noted and sourced, as it seems like a very small number to non-Icelanders.Yobmod (talk) 11:42, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The guys from Sigur Ros mention the Icelandic platinum on their DVD. I don't remember what the number was but that sounds right. --Gcilley (talk) 02:56, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
