Most of this is lifted

So very much of the text of this article is lifted directly out of some of the cited references that most of the article is inappropriate for Wikipedia. I'm removing as much as I can without completely destroying the article, but it needs some attention. Mitchell k dwyer (talk) 12:31, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And it reads like analysis

I'm going through the character list and too much of it is analytical, presenting interpretive summaries rather than simple descriptions, as with this sentence from the bit on Harry Wingate: "Harry is little more than a two-dimensional conniver whose presence is more or less a wake up call to Lizzie." I'm going to look around at other summaries in Wikipedia and see how they handle character descriptions before I take my scissors to this. Mitchell k dwyer (talk) 12:42, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Original research

This entire article reads like a review of the play, or an academic analysis, and virtually none of it is sourced. Even the parts that do have sources are presented as fact, rather than opinion. None of it is appropriate for Wikipeida. Frankly I feel like this article needs to be scrapped and started fresh. Euchrid (talk) 04:31, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
