The claim that Bsharri district has a population of 250,000 is false. While the 17,000 estimate is too low, it is unlikely that the district population exceeds 100,000. Also the reading of the number of votes casted for the 2 MPs allocated to Bsharry is not relevant since the electoral region include multiple Qada'a. This mean that a person in Tripoli can vote for an MP from Bsharri and vica versa.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.179.5.18 (talk) 15:21, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Existence of Kanate

I was going to create an article on the town of Kanate, but there are almost no google results. I believe that Kanate is actually a spelling of Qnat. In this website documenting an excavation of the Mar Challita church, a church in Qnat. They say Kanate (Qnat). On the only other result I could find, this map, they show a map on page 3 showing the village. If you follow that road to get to Kanate, you actually get to Downtown Qnat. So I will delete it from the template and this page unless it is an actual town, which it might very well be as I live nowhere near Lebanon so I don't know.
