Does a larger bubble nest indicate a happier fish than a fish with a small bubble nest? Jam01 03:27, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

it says the eggs float up into the bubble nest, but then it says some might fall out and need replacing. Which is it?

I have never read of any of the 1/700+ cichlid species building bubble nests, and absolutely know there are no sunfish that do that (both groups are better known for making nests in the substrate or, in many cichlids, mouthbrooding). I will be removing that statement for now unless someone gives clear evidence that there are cichlids that build bubblenests — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.175.246.43 (talk) 23:00, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
