I've proposed a Panic! at the Disco Wikiproject here, to see how many people would be interested before starting one. I've read Choke, that line is definatly in there, I dunno who added the tag, but the line is in the book, printed on ink as writen by Chuck Palahniuk...so the tag isn't needed. If you want a citation, just pick up the damn book

I've removed the sentence stating that this song's title comes from a direct quote from Chuck Palahniuk's novel 'Choke'.

After recently re-reading the book its evident that there is no exact matching quote to be found. Additionally, after downloading a digital version of the book and searching through methodically, there is no evidence that 'build god, then we'll talk' is even a remotely interpretable theme that panic at the disco picked up on from Choke.

Additionally, i posted threads at the biggest Chuck Palahniuk forum and Panic! At The Disco forum on the internet asking people if they could identify where in Choke 'build god then we'll talk' is mentioned. Noone could find it.

The only possible connection to be found between choke and this particular song's title is when you google something like 'panic disco palahniuk', in which case you find this wikipedia article, and several weblogs all with the same line of information cut/copy/pasted from each other. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tortallbaali (talk • contribs) 00:25, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a quote from the book, are you thinking of "The Only difference..."? That is an exact quote from the book Survivor. Maybe you're thinking of the wrong book. No, this song definitely was not based on Choke. JazzlineB (talk) 23:33, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
