Open Enrollment section
I went ahead and removed enrollment policies that were prior to 2010, since this seemed to be bizarre content to include (historical enrollment policies-this doesn't seem to be the norm for university pages). ----ksiramat
I went ahead and removed the open enrollment paragraph at the top of the page. It should be in a different section of this article. Most community colleges and many schools have open admissions, yet I rarely see this listed at the top of their wiki pages. I just don't see why Capella has to be singled out.
If you want to bring it back, fine. But a few sentences should suffice and should be listed in the demographic seciont or a new one about enrollment. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.153.62.251 (talk) 00:43, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- Someone put it back in the lede. I moved the information about prior learning assessment and enrollment policies to more appropriate sections. It sure looks like someone was trying to disparage Capella by putting all that in the lede. Gigs (talk) 18:24, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
I put the information about the open admission stuff in the history section, though it seems to read a little awkwardly there.Flyte35 (talk) 18:07, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
Notable Persons Error?
Nowhere could I find David F. Duncan listed as a student of Capella University, including on his own website: duncan-associates.com I am removing him from the list as I'm quite certain this was an error.
- Dr. David F. Duncan, American epidemiologist and expert on drug abuse.

Publicity
This page sounds more like publicity for the school than an unbiased Wikipedia entry. It seems as if the page was written by someone with a stake in the university. Perhaps it should be edited to maintain an unbiased tone by someone who knows a bit more about it than me..

What the problems with the page now? if someone want to polish the English in this article then welcome, and do so! bat do not erase all the article changes because it is not polished English!
All the changes in the article are explained , and with proofs.-- Joe silver 1 (talk) 23:32, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
- Aside from the glaring grammar issues with your proposed edit (e.g., many unnecessarily capitalized words, misplaced commas, the most significant problems with your edit are original researchwhich is not allowed here. (It's also bad research, by the way; you can't combine different and very limited, specific criteria for different recognitions to reach a new and unrelated conclusion.)
- Second, some of your sources aren't reliable. I am particularly concerned about CollegeFactual.com and TheBestColleges.org as neither of those websites appear to be respected ranking systems. I would also caution against using the Huffington Post opinion piece you cited as it was written by an employee of Capella so it's at best a good source for her opinion but not a good source for objective facts.
