Does

Arsene Lupin
qualify? Should he be mentioned and linked here?

If Bernie Rhodenbarr qualifies, so does his ancestor Lupin--also their British cousin, A.J. Raffles. However, none of them are, to my way of thinking, fully a part of this subgenre, since they work alone, and don't plan elaborate heists. Their various thefts are not really the main point of the stories. I see no harm in mentioning Lupin and Raffles, but they should perhaps be distinguished in some way--as early prototypes, in a sense.Xfpisher (talk) 20:31, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Garbage

The whole article should be deleted. It's just one person's opinion without a single reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.17.195.227 (talk) 11:02, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
