"First Heart Transplant"

This contradicts the following: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart_transplant "The first human-to-human heart transplant was performed by cardiac surgeon Christiaan Barnard at Groote Schuur Hospital in South Africa on the 3rd December, 1967 by a team led by Dr. Christiaan Barnard. Mydogtrouble I see the problem and I'm not sure how to fix it. There is a way to word it which would look really bad, but I know from checking the source that it was the hospital's first heart transplant, not the first one anywhere.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 20:02, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Photo of Charlotte Memorial Hospital

I believe a photo of this building is needed. As far as I know it is still standing. I checked to make sure the link still worked and it didn't, so I asked the Special Collections librarian at UNCC and was sent links to Twitter and Instagram. I couldn't access the Instagram photos so I used one of the Twitter ones. I was reverted, even though it clearly states the photo is from UNCC Special Collections.

The reason I bring this up, even though Light-jet pilot found the photo in an archive, is that the photo I want to use looks better. And unfortunately, the photo appears unlikely to be one we could use rather than link to.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 19:54, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I only reverted it because Twitter is not a source. I wonder if there would be a better version in an official Archive somewhere? Light-jet pilot (talk) 00:02, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure why you refer to "a source" since it's not a reference, but a photo the article needs but one we don't have permission to use. Anyway, I'm waiting on a response about some other way this photo can be used.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 16:38, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
