This nonsense is getting out of hand. It's PLAYING CATCH. That's what you do, it's what it's called all over the USA, and anything else is a regional (I heard Pennsylvania) thing. 24.61.24.227 (talk) 00:31, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I restored "having a catch" to the intro after a bit of edit warring today. Wikipedia does not need to solve the debate of whether "play catch" or "have a catch" is correct, our job is only to present information, and omitting that alternate formulation is leaving out information for no good reason. Including both seems a reasonable compromise, noting that have a catch and having a catch both redirect to this article. I figure that's a better solution to the continuous edit warring, anyway.
