Who is the first batsman to score a century in Tests?

See the scorecard of the very first Test match here : http://cricketarchive.co.uk/Archive/Scorecards/2/2077.html Tintin 08:04, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Inning/Innings

In cricket the convention is that both the singular and the plural is 'innings', as in Innings#Cricket Khcf6971 (talk) 22:19, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't know that so I corrected the article because I thought "innings" was being treated as a plural here, since it ends in S and singular forms usually do not take an S except for the third person conjugations of verbs which take either -s or -es --Fandelasketchup (talk) 10:56, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
