It's often claimed that da Vinci designed the canal, but he did not. See for example [[1]] book which discusses it. It's a myth which the town itself is more than happy to promulgate. But in fact while da Vinci *did* survey the canal at the request of Cesare Borga, it was done for military purposes and the canal had already been constructed largely to its current design.

Main sights

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added a part to the paragraph called “Main sights” (content taken from the book by Gianfranco Lauretano, Cesenatico nello sguardo, nella mente, nel cuore, Cesena, IL VICOLO- Divisione Libri, 2011). The short intervention that I added introduces the importance of the port canal in Cesenatico: as it is nowadays one of the most visited parts of the town, I thought that a small paragraph related to it was necessary.
