Should this article be moved to Cash & Carry Smart Foodservice? The company is commonly known as Cash & Carry in cities near its stores. The company is formally named Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice. Our client, CHEF’STORE, is asking for changes to be made to the company page.

Update the article title and the page URL to US Foods CHEF'STORE.

Please change the logo to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:USFoods_CHEFSTORE_Logo.png.

In the infobox, update the number of locations to 82.

In the first sentence of the opening paragraph, add these states to the list of chain locations using this text:

• "CHEF'STORE (formerly Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores and Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice) is a chain of American warehouse grocery stores located in Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington.”^[1]

In the second sentence of the opening paragraph, replace “80 stores as of the end of March 2020” with “82 stores at the end of May 2022.”

Correct the third sentence of the opening paragraph by updating the number of locations in each state:

• “The company operates one store in Arizona, 15 in California, 6 in Idaho, two in Montana, two in Nevada, one store in North Carolina, one in Oklahoma, 21 in Oregon, three stores in South Carolina, one in Texas, one in Utah, one in Virginia, and 27 stores in Washington state.”

Update the last sentence of the opening from “The company is based in Portland, Oregon.” to “The company is based in West Linn, Oregon, and Rosemont, Illinois.”

Add a new “History” subheading below the opening paragraph. CHEF’STORE would like what is currently the second paragraph to now be the first paragraph under the new History section.

• “Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores operated as an independent division of Smart & Final, LLC between 2008 and 2020. In March 2020, US Foods purchased the Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores from Apollo Global Management for $970 million. In March 2021 US Foods rebranded all Smart Foodservice Warehouse stores as US Foods CHEF'STORE.”

Beneath that paragraph, add this text:

• “Cash&Carry was established in 1955 by United Grocers and operated under the name United Grocers Cash&Carry with a single store in Oregon City, Oregon. In 1998, Smart Foodservice was acquired by Smart & Final and became known as Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice.^[2] In 2018, Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice announced its rebranding to Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores.^[3] In June 2022, CHEF’STORE named Irfan Badibanga as the company president, succeeding Derek Jones.“

Delete the “Relationship to Smart & Final” section as it’s not relevant.

Include CHEF’STORE as an external link: Company website

Remove both the Smart Foodservice and the Smart & Final external links. They are not relevant.
