- Merge the fruit, leave the drink. I think it makes sense to treat the fruit and the tree in a single article. But the drink probably needs its own article. I think it's notable enough, and it's counterintuitive to treat a soft drink in an article with a binomial Latin name. --Trovatore (talk) 03:07, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- Keep the content about the soft drinks. Merge the botanical information. Wahrmund (talk) 21:01, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- Comment Actually I think that's the soft drink, singular. There may be other chinotto drinks, but only one is trademarked "Chinotto". That's the one I was saying is notable enough for an article. --Trovatore (talk) 09:20, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
- I'll go along with Porges, but I agree with Wahrmund and Trovatore: for example, Di Iorio s.p.a certainly deserves a mention somewhere, their "Stappj" line of chinotto is very highly regarded here in Perth. 122.200.166.57 (talk) 02:24, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

If no one objects, I'll create a new article called "Chinotto (soft drink)" and move the drinks content into it. Wahrmund (talk) 20:42, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds like a plan. 122.200.166.241 (talk) 05:16, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
