re: Omar's body tag switch

I always interpreted it that the scene was about the extent of Omar's was ghetto fame; so when the morgue worker read the name he had heard stories of him and knew the old white guy was not Omar. It follows from the escalating stories of his death going around the street. 'Bureaucratic error is corrected' doesnt make much of a scene.

>At the close of the episode Omar’s corpse is at the morgue being processed by the medical examiners. One of the staff >notices a tag, which lists Omar Little as an AAM (African American Male), on the bag for a Caucasian decedent who lies >adjacent to Omar’s body. The assistant medical examiner realizes the tags have been confused and puts the correct tag back >on Omar’s corpse before sealing the body bags.

I have edited the summary as it is incorrect regarding the Davis case. He is not protected by double jeopardy because his falsified loan application (and the relevant criminal charge) were not included in the state trial. This is brought up in an earlier episode when Lester and Pearlman first bring the case to Bond's attention (in which Bond specifically decides not to bring this charge), and is also touched upon in this episode when the US attorney refers to this evidence as in their "back pocket."
