Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... it is a legitimate organization which I believe meets GNG. "Asserted importance" is subjective. IMO the article did and does assert importance. With some editing just now, it further asserts importance on basis that it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Places listed on the National Register are almost never deleted, as they meet higher standards of review than is required for Wikipedia articles. --doncram 15:42, 23 December 2016 (UTC) --16:44, 23 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
