Currently, there is no mention of Clouded leopard, Marbled cat or Tortoiseshell cat being referred to as Clouded tiger. So, are references going to be added to those articles? Jay (talk) 16:57, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've closed the RfD discussion as "disambiguate". I've copied the original draft [1] from Clouded tiger (disambiguation) to the base title Clouded tiger instead of moving the page, because I believe it's better to preserve the history of that title (i.e. the fact that it had existed as a redirect since 2006).

In the RfD discussion, alright sources were provided for Clouded leopard and Marbled cat, and sources of unknown quality for Calico cat. The use of the term for Tortoiseshell cat remains unsourced. Of course, it would normally be better for the alternative names to be mentioned in the linked articles, but I'll leave to others to choose in what way (if any) such a mention should be incorporated in each of them. Given how rare the term appears to be, the fact of each alternative use is more relevant for the page Clouded tiger than it is for any of the targets. – Uanfala (talk) 21:12, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
