First publication?

Trying to track down citation for 1978 Aladdin claim. Indiebound.org gives 1982 for Aladdin. Amazon and Barnes & Noble show a 1982 Atheneum as earliest pub. The giant indie bookstore Powell's Books gives April 1982. However, the publisher and education company Scholastic, which seems like the most authoritative source so far, gives "Atheneum, 1978; Aladdin Paperbacks, 1982". -- 207.237.223.118 (talk) 02:35, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I first heard of and read the story "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs" in Elementary school. That was in the early 1970's. I was in 1st grade in 1971, 2nd grade in 1972, etc. I can't remember which year it was, but it was "definitely" pre-1978. 132.8.8.45 (talk) 17:03, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plot section as long as the book itself

The "Plot" section of this article is almost 1,200 words. According to this web page the book itself is barely over 1,200 words. nhinchey (talk) 17:25, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Authors 'interviewed'

On 9 October, NPR radio's week-end edition had the two authors on around 7:30 A.M., talking about the book. 2600:6C67:1C00:5F7E:B9DD:3AC8:2D91:AB9A (talk) 13:59, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
