I noticed some of the other language wikipedias have the year of adoption as 1978 while others have 1980 for the coat of arms. If the adoption year were 1978, would not have the original colors of the shield have been green with yellow stars like the flag from 1978? However if the coat of arms do indeed date from 1980, then it would have been a blue shield with white stars as it is currently as those are the same colors as the current flag (adopted in 1979).
