Hi! I don't know why I am thinking that the Coke Studio Pakistan-related pages are involved in mirrors of one another.

If list of Coke Studio episodes page is already available, then why the tables in that page are also present in separate season pages? I think

Similarly, featured artists; if their names were mentioned in main page, then why they are also present in separate pages of S7, S8 and S9; with a Y symbol? This info should also be in one place. I think of no repititions.

@Mar4d, PAKHIGHWAY, and Nauriya: What do you think? As S10 is about to release next month, if we could handle and manage the situation from now? And what about categories, how could they be managed? Coke Studio Pakistan. Actually this list was created a long time back (2010), before we had individual articles on seasons (a trend that was started by me in 2012). @M.Billoo2000: In my opinion the main Coke Studio Pakistan page should discuss the show itself, whereas individual season articles should discuss the artists and songs. The individual season pages over the past few years seem well done. However, the main Coke Studio page needs work. In my opinion, the main Coke Studio page should be broken down into the following headings.

• History (this section should discuss who's idea it was, how Coca Cola is a partner (or has naming rights), when the show was created and how the show changed hands from Rohail Hayat to the current group)
• Seasons (refer to American Idol#Series overview and season synopses...I like the general summary they have written for each season)
• Television ratings (if we could get hands of the annual ratings this show gets, it would be a plus)
• Cultural impact (this is the most important thing...International Fame is just too vague and sounds forced...what international fame? This show does done wonders for Pakistan's domestic music scene, that should be discussed and you can add on international fame as well)
• Reception (this should discuss how commentators view the show...both the positives and negatives)
• Revenue and commercial ventures (I don't know if Coca Cola Pakistan actually releases this information or not, but if it does, then it should be discussed)

As far as the categorizations....here's what should be added > Categories:

• Coke Studio (Pakistan)
• 2000s Pakistani television series
• 2010s Pakistani television series
• 2008 Pakistani television series debuts
• Pakistani music television series

As far as your template suggestion, I have no issues. I'm not very good at templates to be honest, you'd know better. But the colour scheme should match Coke Studio's general "Black, Yellow & Red" theme. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 16:45, 20 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

WP:SUBCAT properly, and remove useless categories. I was watching older edits and happy to watch contributions of Mar4d, but through team effort, we could also update Portal:Coke Studio (Pakistan) and WP:CSPAK too. As for TRPs, I say I don't know; because this doesn't air on only one channel. By the way, we can update here 'most hit songs on social media', as I said above. For tables and lists, I was saying to arrange in proper manner of rows and columns. :) We can also ask for help to an Admin Ultraexactzz, who too discussed the matter above four years back. M. @M.Billoo2000: I am comfortable with most of the part, however, table looks the bit old type, can we have some other template? or stick it to the old one, or why timing is required, there is no need for it, as it is not an album section, plus don't think we should use a template for promo song as well, can explain in a prose. @Mar4d, PAKHIGHWAY, and Nauriya: Thanks for your reply Nauriya, I have updated some after your message. Which kind of new things you need to add? I was OK with the design of S9 line-up chart of backing vocalists and musicians, but not with the arrangement of featured artists and table in music directors. The broadcast table also looks too expanded.

I am only sharing my idea of keeping episodic reviews directly with each episode, along with the digital release date in the table instead of air-date; because air-dates will be of course mentioned in broadcast table. That's why I am saying too that arrange broadcast table according to airing timeslot instead of having alphabetical arrangement(s everywhere). But I want to hear your opinions and suggestions too. Can you make something new in your sandbox and share here? Because please old designs are type of messy or too expanded to view in a mobile device. Thanks again! M.
