Undiscussed move

I have reverted the undiscussed move to

Wide-nose locomotive, as it was made based solely on someone's personal blog. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 23:58, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply

Wide-nose locomotive, although @Trainsandotherthings
moved it back. I'm not a fan of the current name for several reasons:

However I'm not sure what name editors want, so I'm opening a discussion here.

  • Move to Comfort cab. Looking at sources, it appears that the name "Canadian comfort cab" is most often used for CN locomotives, while "comfort cab" is used when referring to American rail companies' equipment. 162 etc. (talk) 20:18, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I would support a move to Comfort cab as a more general name. The design is considered to have originated in Canada, hence the name, but I believe comfort cab is also an acceptable name. I do not support wide-nose locomotive, as that doesn't make it clear what the article is describing (a type of cab, not a type of locomotive).
