This page is amateur written at best. the definition is plain wrong. conceptual photography doesn't mean taking a picture of a concept. everything is a concept. it is about the "act" of the photographer being recorded in a picture. the "act" or "performance" is then being interpreted by the viewer.

all those "examples" you made are not of "Conceptual photography". they are just a bunch of pretty pictures taken by internet amateurs.

}} This article was needing examples. From the description it is not very clear what conceptual photography is. It is hard to find examples (even more good examples) of conceptual photography in wiki-commons. I found two. The other are two from Flickr and two of my own. Can someone check that I did it right with the ones from Flickr about the copyright issue. Also one of the photos of my own is a deleted file. I used it before as an example of food photography but people didn't like it, mostly thinking that is was a prank. I uploaded it again because I think it is a good example of conceptual photography. Am I doing right in this case? I put the "help" tag to attract attention here but if there is another way of requesting revision of my edition please explain me who. Hi. Unfortunately the two images from flickr need to be deleted, they are for non-commercial use only. Images you created yourself are of course fine and I don't see any obvious copyright issues with those from commons. You might be interested in looking at Wikipedia:Free image resources, and regarding flickr:only those images which are free for commercial use and modification can be used on Wikipedia . This is the free image search link for flickr.

and fashion photography has nothing to do with conceptual photography fashion photography is about selling beauty. conceptual photography is a part of the continues discussion in the photography art world

Fashion photography?

We're told:

Conceptual photography as a part of conceptual art is a photography genre in which the artists makes a photograph of a concept or idea.[1] Usually the conception of the idea precedes the realization of the photography.[2]

Sounds to me like fashion photography.

Can't say I'd ever heard of him, but then I know little of fashion photography. I googled for him. Very pretty, if that's your thing. Shouldn't he have an article about himself before he's named in the lead paragraph of another article? -- Hoary (talk) 15:55, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
