Katy,

I love this topic! And I think it is really important to cover in a Wikipedia article. I think your outline looks really good so far. The only thing that I can think of that you may want to add is information on digital preservation of performance art, including some of the tools used in that process like the variable media questionnaire. This link to the VMQ could be helpful to you if you want to include some information in terms of digital preservation, or the conservation of performance art in general, http://variablemediaquestionnaire.net/. While you don't have much information provided in your outline, I do think your outline does so far follow Wikipedia guidelines in terms of its structure.

Katy, this is a really great conservation topic and I think your outline is well rounded. I'm assuming that you are going to include information about how to preserve the physical materials that are preserving the performance. This topic really has two levels of preservation at play. I agree with Alex that this is a good opportunity to include digital preservation. Also, your inclusion of artist's intent and concerns is great and will be a good to consider regarding conservation. Are you planning on including information on non-professional performance art? I'm thinking about recordings that are just uploaded to YouTube or another social media platform that don't have the backing of a museum or collecting institution.
