question on wikiproject.
Why would this page be under a wiki project for abortion? It is about contraception, the artifical prevention of a pregnacy, not the termination of a pregancy. Putting it under such a project seems illogical and misleading. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.239.64.251 (talk) 04:56, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
- valid point
The last sentence of the introductory paragraph is incorrect. The changing law did not reflect a change in Catholic morality on sexuality. The Churches stance on contraception has remained unchanged. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.12.255.166 (talk) 07:36, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
opposition
Is it reasonable to say "Despite the law reforms, some Irish people still publicly oppose the use of contraception within marriage, including sports personality Mickey Harte" without some indication of how numerous this opposition is? Furthermore, Harte resides "outside the jurisdiction". -
- He does, but would probably describe himself as an "Irish person", so I worded it that way.Red Hurley (talk) 10:37, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Is "a few" better? I've linked to Brandsma and Dr McCrystal's essay. He also lives in NI but his Irish charity has an address in Dublin 1.Red Hurley (talk) 10:59, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- ok, forgot about the american-funded HLI, although I still reckon it givs them undue prominence - talk) 12:45, 17 August 2010 (UTC)]
- It's a minority view now, but wikipedia should cite differing opinions IMHO.Red Hurley (talk) 07:56, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
