What

What happened to this show? Is it still on air?--Jon Revelle 07:41, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cancellation

As far as I know, this show has been cancelled. Carolla has mentioned on the radio that it cost a lot of money to do each episode, and Comedy Central wasn't willing to foot the bill. I'll try to find a mention of it somewhere and to add this data. SGreenwell 21:12, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

But... He also mentioned on Tuesday's Adam Carolla Show that the show would be coming back, but on MTV. I'll update this page later with the info. SGreenwell 08:57, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reruns are now showing on Comedy Central again. It is on at 1am (central time)

I hear that MTV2 just ordered up some new episodes. :)

It's not been cancelled; I'm sitting here in a hotel watching it right now! 76.178.88.178 (talk) 17:45, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MTV 2

Can anyone with actual authority put informaton up about Crank Yankers on MTV2. Every time i add andy milanokis to the list of callers it gets deleted...true info...very pathetic.

Errr, I don't know when you put that information in. Are you sure you edited the page properly? Also, it might have been deleted since the only mention of Andy being on the show is in the new MTV2 commercials. I don't think it has started broadcasting, has it? Also, please sign your comments by using four tildes. SGreenwell 20:27, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The first episode if the new season was on last night, Friday February 9. Does anyone else think the new theme music is horrible?John 16:55, 10 February 2007 (EST)

What about the CDs?

So, um, yeah... what about them?

Eminem - Ass like that Video Clip

The puppets from Crank Yankers were featured in this song. Felt it deserved a mention in this artile somewhere.

Elmer's age / relation to Terrence

I have made a few changes. Elmer's age is not 92, as stated on the Comedy Central website, but in fact 85. Elmer always states that his age is 85, and if he were 92, he'd be too old to have served in WWII.

Secondly, Elmer is Terrence's grandfather. We learn this in a skit in which they appear together. I have added this bit of info to Terrence's 'bio', but not Elmer's. The reason being, is that in Elmer's bio, it states he has a gay grandson. If I then mention that Terrence is Elmer's grandson, it might be inferred that Terrence is the gay grandson (which may not be the case, as we don't know how many grandchildren Elmer has). How can I add this information without this implication being made?

Yankers and Yankerville etymology

Is this ever explained by developers or in the show itself? Like is it derived from "to yank someone's chain" or something? 184.145.18.50 (talk) 03:56, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Fictional ages

I have just removed ages for two characters. We have several editors who have a "special interest" in assigning ages to fictional characters and these were unsourced.

"Special Ed", for example, originally had no stated age, then he was 8, then 16. He is "younger". That's enough.

If anyone feels the need to include specific ages and can locate reliable sources, feel free to restore them with cites. - SummerPhDv2.0 15:26, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
