New Creeper mini for August 2006(!)

I just did some mostly minor revisions to the "Brave New World" section of this article, and in the process noticed something. One early sentence reads, "It was recently announced that a new 6-issue Creeper mini-series...would begin in August 2006." This is obviously obsolete. It was added on February 24, 2006, by one DrFinger, whose most recently listed contribution is dated April 2, 2007, and whose profile and talk page links show in red, i.e. they don't exist, so asking him/her about it doesn't seem a viable option. Does anybody out there know if this mini came out, came out late, or never came out at all?

One other thing--when I deleted the grammar warning, the illio did disappear from the preview. I was quite surprised when it showed after I clicked "Save", but couldn't take my comment about it out of the edit summary then. Ted Watson 22:15, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a little slow, but it just occurred to me to check the Grand Comics Database's search engine for "Creeper," and I found that the above was released, beginning with a September 2006 cover date, so I updated the article to reflect that. No more problem here. And that cover I seemed to but actually didn't have a problem with, was from that mini's first issue! How could somebody put that up but not update the text? Oh, well, as I said, nothing to worry about here any more. Ted Watson 19:46, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rebooted Origins

is this section wrong? or just really poorly written. "Ryder is caught attempting to steal Yatz's newly-discovered technology. Unable to escape, Yatz injects the last sample of nanocells, still unstable, into Ryder's body in an attempt to keep the sample safe from the villains" wouldnt he be the villan, as he is the one trying to steal the nanotech? 99.199.51.71 (talk) 06:52, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

JLA appearance

…guested in Justice League of America #70 (March 1969), where Batman asked the titular superhero to determine whether the Creeper was an outlaw. This doesn’t make any sense; there is no “titular superhero” of JLA. I edited it, but I’m not at all familiar with the story, so now it’s vague. Can someone clarify this? —Frungi (talk) 19:20, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
