They already have that, I think. I drive by and I see the wind turbine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.55.227.9 (talk) 02:54, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article update - potential student project Spring semester 2021

I am a non-traditional student at Crowder College, studying under the alternative energy program. I am considering updating this article next semester. DonneyC (talk) 05:58, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm planning to start my class project soon. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated. DonneyC (talk) 22:31, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Solar Decathlon

Crowder College competed in the 2002 (inaugural) Solar Decathlon and the 2005 event.

See the final report from 2002.[1] Pages 88 - 89 contain the points and standings for the Crowder's entry, including the overall 6th place entry. The People's Choice award is on pages 6 and 7.

See the final report from 2005. [2] Three different entries tied for the Energy Balance Contest; they had as much energy in their batteries at the end of the competition as they had at the beginning, or more. Crowder College was one of them. See pages 39 - 40 for the report on Crowder's entry.
