Rowling appearance

J.K. Rowling, writer of the Harry Potter book series, has admitted that this sketch is what she got the idea for the Chocolate Frogs and Cockroach Cluster that appear in the Harry Potter books. Perhaps this should be included in a "Popular Culture" section in the article?

There's the site I got this information from, specifically Note 1 at the bottom of the page. 188.57.40.92 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 00:59, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hint for Parrot sketch?

Praline and Parrot (who is also sick)? Could this be a hint to the upcoming Dead Parrot sketch? Or am I reading too much into it? 188.57.40.92 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 00:59, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Appearance on German TV

In German police film TV series TATORT ("Crime Scene"), in episode "Frau Bu lacht" ("Mrs. Bu Laughs") from November 26, 1995, a Chinese man consumes a confection called "Knusperfrosch" ("Crispy Frog") and there's a scene mimicking that from Monthy Python. Throughout the episode, the guy is seen eating it, and only near the end he is asked by the police officers what it is and explains it to them. 2003:C8:BBCD:4618:9481:C954:5280:FAA3 (talk) 02:03, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Policemen's names?

In the version of the script at montypython.net (presumably of a live performance), the Inspector is unnamed but his companion is called Constable Clitoris. Martinevans123 (talk) 16:45, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
