I have tried to give some reasons why the page existing with this name should not be deleted but should continue with some introductory editing to bring home to the readers the reason why it is not relegious promotion or anything that some are finding it. This is a writing of Adi Sankara who is an historic figure in India whose importance extends much beyond the realms of the Hindu religion into the Indian philosophy and Sanskrit literature. Sankara's writings have enriched the literature in the classical language and through his myriad commentaries on the various philosophical traditions, he has added a new dimension to it. The scripture in question is really very well known in intellectual discourses on the subject. It has a very unique meter. This is really a description of a form of Siva in all his magnificience as the epistemological origin of all knowledge from which place the body of ideas and knowledge emanates and gets classified.Shyamwik (talk) 09:43, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
