This USAID report describes the LGA as "one of the most conservative and traditional LGAs within the city walls of Kano". Since it contains Dala Hill (around which Kano originated), and is therefore likely one of the oldest parts of the city, this certainly makes sense. Not sure if that should go in the article, so I note it here. Picaroon (t) 22:19, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
