Dates Wrong...

When I was a kid, we went to this as part of a field trip only, back then, it was a travelling exhibit that set up in store fronts for a month or two before moving to its next location. It came back to my town several times. I'm glad to see it's grown into a full-sized amusement park, but it didn't start that way.50.168.176.243 (talk) 17:13, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Came here to say the same. 2007 is not the first date. This was a temporary attraction in the 1980s in Albany, NY at the museum. I have fond memories of it as a kid. Someone should update the info. There's a commercial for the attraction from 1989 on Youtube.

Carowinds movie no longer exists. Edit needed

The action theater at Carowinds has been closed down for at least 2 years now.

They no longer show the dinosaurs movie and no one is allowed in the facility. All signage was removed and talk around the park is that it's scheduled for demolition after Thunder road this July.

Cedar Fair Bias

This article has a serious factual error and what appears to be a huge bias to the Cedar Fair chain. The Dinosaurs Alive! were launched after the film of same name and initially had nothing to do with Cedar Fair. As I am located in Toronto area I can not comment on US sites but they were launched years earlier at other venues. I do not know history did Cedar Fair buy Dinosaurs Alive! out? Was Cedar Fair simply a larger more visible client? In Toronto area they had Dinosaur Alive! exhibits at the Toronto Zoo and ant Woodbine Fantasy Fair. Kav2001c (talk) 16:05, 2 February 2021 (UTC)kav2001c[reply]

I would not call it a "huge bias" towards Cedar Fair, as "Dinosaurs Alive!" was the name of the attraction at Cedar Fair parks. A quick Google search for "Dinosaurs Alive Woodbine Fantasy Fair" does appear to show Dinosaurs were present at attraction(s) in Toronto, but the term Dinosaurs Alive! is not used. At this time, the article should remain about the Cedar Fair attraction unless a independent, secondary source can be found that says "Dinosaurs Alive!" was/is an attraction outside of Cedar Fair parks.-- Astros4477 (Talk) 20:51, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It def is a huge bias as Dinosaurs Alive was a trademark from a separate entity and licensed / purchased in some way to Cedar Fair at a much later date. As an example of source the operating season for 2007 Toronto Zoo is listed here (I also am editing the list to insert named dinosaurs from sources) [1] Kav2001c (talk) 21:07, 2 February 2021 (UTC)kav2001c[reply]
You need to include that information as a citation. You cannot just add information without sources.-- Astros4477 (Talk) 21:09, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also found second source to cite Calgary Zoo. My point is these are Canadian sources but I am willing to bet lots more US locations had Dinosaurs Alive! back then. It was something Cedar Fair purchased / licensed and not even close to exclusive to their parks Kav2001c (talk) 21:20, 2 February 2021 (UTC)kav2001c[reply]
