Dren is a term from used to refer to animals which has the same meaning as the word "Deer". It is possibly a modification of the Albanian language.

Dren/Drijenjak is a word in slavic languages for a species of dogwood native to southern Europe and southwest Asia. In North America, the plant is known by the common name of Cornelian Cherry.It is mainly used for making excellent jam in Europe.
