- Unfortunately, all my reference tells is "Local name published in 1920 by USC&GS". It would certainly be interesting to find out the origin of the name of the island (as well Alcohol and Drug Abuse Lake).– Gilliam (talk) 02:30, 23 July 2015 (UTC)]
