Why was my edit marked as vandalism, if I removed an out-right lie. Someone who was only identified by an IP number said that Page was an out lesbian and used her interview with David Letterman as a source. A lot of actors are attractive, and undoubtedly it helps, but to my knowledge Page is not reknowned for playing inherantly attractive characters. Lots of people on messageboards say she's unnaturally young-looking, unnatractively androgynous etc, so i don't think her looks are really noteworthy unless she makes it to a "most beautiful" poll or something. Hey, I'm not out to bash Ellen; if i weren't a fan i probably wouldn't be looking out for article. personally i find it offensive that you think androngyny and "gorgeous" are mutually exclusive. I only mentioned that i have seen on the internet and heard in personal discussion the opinions that a) she looks young for her age b) that that is a bad thing c) she looks boyish (this has also been written about in interviews) d) that that is a bad thing. I doubt seriously that any of you are or even know someone who is androgynous, and if you do (or are) then you know it's not attractive. Fair Use images shouldn't be used for living people, as it is possible for a free use image to be taken and uploaded.

In the filmography section, it lists her newest movie as "The Wrong Picture", but if you click the link the movie is called "Bop DeCameron", however on the page it says that it's "also known as The Wrong Picture". I honestly don't see the problem with the image currently on the article. It's a professional photo of her at an event smiling directly at the camera. She doesn't look much different from how she usually does. I think that's an excellent source for it being in production. Too bad we couldn't have resolved this before the protection. Maybe DMacks will lift it now that we're getting along better. I removed the "Closet" tag which was at the top of the page. It read "This article is about a subject who recently came out of the closet. Information may change as the event progresses."

Announcements about her sexuality are not an 'event' that may change rapidly. The banner was just a demeaning representation of the whole situation as a media scandal. Wikipedia is not a tabloid. Her coming out should not somehow throw the rest of the article into doubt, like perhaps a subject passing away would. This is not about being proud or ashamed of LGBT culture or sexuality or whatever, this is about representing people as people and not participating in media spin.

Is there even a real 'closet' tag? I mean, there's not really a story for something like that; a person is gay or they aren't (yes, I know about all the different sexualities, but for the sake of argument, keep it simple). In the article, it says she came out as "gay" … not "lesbian." While lesbian is used exclusively for female same-sex attraction, gay applies generally to same-sex attraction. There is no doubt that she is female, so it is unnecessary and redundant to impose the word lesbian. I feel we should respect Ellen's choice of noun to describe her orientation, especially since it is understood that both gay and lesbian have their own nuanced lingusitic baggage.

Support - The sources in the article refer to her as "gay" in their titles, not lesbian. In fact, the articles don't ever use the word lesbian at all. A direct quote from Page herself uses the term gay rather than lesbian, "I'm here today because I am gay,". Stalking incident

In 2013, rumors of her dating fellow "The East" castmate Alexander Skarsgard surfaced, during that time she recieved death threats on twitter from a stalker who threatened to kill her in public if she didn't stop dating him. She managed to file a 3-year restraining order against him after she contacted the police.

In the Personal Life section, please change the year 2017 where it states, "On November 10, 2017, Page alleged that filmmaker Brett Ratner.... On the first day of December Elliot decided to come out as trans and change his given name from Ellen to Elliot.
