I know the writer means well, but in America, a four door car is a SEDAN, not a saloon. A Saloon is a building with a bar downstairs and a brothel upstairs, except in Britain, where it's a sedan.

On April 3, 1955, Elvis A. Presley was ticketed in Caddo Parish La. for speeding in his "white/pink 54 cad.," according to the ticket. However, the article implies Elvis' Cadillac was just pink and he didn't have a white/pink Cadillac until the next year. ClassicCF (talk) 14:20, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Elvis’s Pink Cadillac

Elvis actually bought 2 pink Cadillac’s. The first was a convertible which Gladys Presley didn’t want. She asked for a hardtop which Elvis ordered when he took the convertible back to the dealership. A car dealer in Arkansas had been looking for a “good deal” on a caddie and had put the word out to a car salesman in Memphis. The convertible was sold to A.E. “Bud” Person of Jacksonville, Arkansas. 2600:100B:B123:FCA5:A5A7:E53B:C00:60FB (talk) 01:44, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
