Abortion

It says she had the first legal abortion on television, however Maude Findley had one in 1972, which would have put her before Erica Kane. --BrenDJ 00:50, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maude's abortion was legal only in that state. Erica had the first televised abortion which was legal nationally. Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 02:54, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Erica's abortion was the first on television after Roe v. Wade -- the first one when abortion was legal throughout the U.S. Mike H. is right -- abortion was legal in New York State (where Maude lived) at the time, although Maude's abortion was no less controversial. However, I must confess that I think AMC took a giant step backwards when it rewrote history to bring Erica's son on.The Invisible Man 22:19, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The trivia section assumes that a woman's name changes automatically when she marries. That is incorrect. I'm not sure how to edit the section to reflect that and still keep the trivia. Then again, maybe that's a good reason to remove that section - trivia about a soap opera character that isn't even correct?

Manual of Style

Please take a look at the Wikipedia:Manual of Style; decades are presented without apostrophes (1980s) and the word "and" should always be used rather than the ampersand symbol (&), which is actually never used unless part of a proper title, etc. It would be great for you to have a better understanding of some of these small nuances before you make further (incorrect) "corrections" as you did in Erica Kane. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 18:45, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
