What is "midget ice hockey"?

I take it from the website that "midget" means in some sense "minor" -- but exactly what specifically? Is it amateur? Is it minor league professional? This needs to be explained in the lead. Duoduoduo (talk) 19:48, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Possible errrors

Wikimedia received an email from a representative of Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) in connection with Esso Cup. They indicated that the references to OHF, HEO, HNWO are incorrect and should be replaced by OWHA. (I tried contacting one of the major editors of this article but they ignored me.)--S Philbrick(Talk) 19:54, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
