Catholic bigotry
The song is an obvious example of anti-Catholic bigotry. It's sad that Wikipedia has devolved into a hate site that traffics in anti-Christian and especially anti-Catholic bigotry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.32.91.98 (talk) 06:25, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Catholic doctrine
The article should perhaps allow some space to expose what Catholic doctrine on the topic actually is, instead of deriving various misconceptions from it. The Church's doctrine is not that every sperm is sacred, but rather that every embryo is sacred (see

The song speaks to the questions the children put to their father. Why not use contraception? Why not sterilization? Nothing in the skit mentions embryos. It's obvious that you put work into your response, but you're answering a question that has no relevance here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.66.99.129 (talk) 19:08, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's not at all ironic. Origen was anathematized and condemned, and the Catholic Church considered him a heretic until recently. --70.36.140.233 (talk) 10:33, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Logic and "Straw Men"
I deleted the line, "Taken as a logical argument, "Every Sperm Is Sacred" is an example of the straw man fallacy" from the "Influences" section. It seemed to be a really odd non sequitur with no bearing on the rest of the article. Literate Pervert (talk) 08:03, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
