Extremis after Stark Disassembled?

"Tony later discovered that his brain still had access to Extremis, which he began using again." This part is in non if the comics I know off. The Bleeding Edge Armor works in many ways different and it was mentioned nowhere that Tony regained the use of Extremis abilities. --212.185.31.125 (talk) 13:25, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious

The claim that Extremis armor will appear in Iron Man 2 has no references or sources. Not only that, a casual interview between Favreau and Ain'tItCoolNews suggests that Favreau does not like the idea of the Extremis armor. http://www.aintitcool.com/node/36491 This next part is just my opinion, but I'd like to suggest that any similarities in appearance are just similarities in appearance until the contrary has been proven. 70.254.195.238 (talk) 07:39, 18 April 2010 (UTC) GuestEditorZyxtuv[reply]

Complete Nonsense

90% of this article bears no resemblance to reality whatsoever. The Extremis arc was never meant to reboot the Iron Man character, nor was it intended to be an "new origin" as the article claims. The entire Extremis arc takes place completely within main Iron Man continuity. Seriously, did the person that wrote this even read the arc? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.33.202.98 (talk) 00:01, 7 May 2010 (UTC) Actually that is wrong. Before Extremis Tony was wounded in Vietnam or Korea before that, the new origin is the part about Afghanistan. Thje article didn't suggest anything else. --212.185.31.125 (talk) 13:25, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ellipses within brackets?

I'm concerned about this paragraph:

This is similar for Adi Granov: "My first official introduction to the character occurred a year prior to Extremis. [...] Upon reading the script, I realized how realistic Warren's approach was to the story. [...] When illustrating the book I wanted my art to mirror the realism in Warren's writing [...] I felt that Warren wrote a story that's a sort of techno-thriller action story and I wanted the art to reflect this. [...] I saw Iron Man as not just a superhero in a suit; rather he is a pilot or weapon. To me, the Iron Man armor is more akin to a jetfighter than it is to an outfit.

Look how ugly that is! And it's all the fault of those ellipses within brackets.

Here is my question: Is that even a legitimate thing? Or is it something that developed on the Internet among the semi-literate, as a sort of over-compensation? I don't recall ever seeing "[...]" in a newspaper or other major publication; "..." always seemed to suffice. (Personally, I prefer the dots be spaced out . . . but as good as it looks, it doesn't catch on.)

Even if ellipses within brackets have a legitimate place, I'm positive they're being used wrong here.
