To complete the list of recordings the following should be added: Elgar. Falstaff, Symphonic Study for orchestra in C minor Op 68 + Romance for bassoon + Grania and Diarmid + Froissart. The list is not, and does not set out to be, "complete". It confines itself to those recordings singled out by the BBC and The Gramophone as the most important. There are at least another 15 recordings not mentioned, including A. Davis's.
